DER Touristik & Incentive München offers perfectly organized raft trips in the heart of Bavaria. A trip on an ethnic log raft is an adventure you won’t forget.

Originally, log rafting was a way to transport bulky goods, but now it is a fun activity popular with both young and old.

The rafts are built exactly in the same way as a hundred years ago. Today, however, they are taken apart in Munich and transported back to Wolfratshausen, so that our log raft service and the fun can start all over again on the next day.

In Bavaria, log rafting on the river Isar has a long tradition. The rafters’ knowledge was passed on from generation to generation. Only a few families that have been raftsmen for centuries have the right to conduct rafts on the Isar. Join them on a fun raft trip and experience a day you won’t forget!

A great day out on the River Isar

Raft trips on the Isar take place from May to mid-September. Book now to secure your preferred date, as the number of raft trips per year is limited and they are quickly sold out.

With DER Touristik & Incentive München, you can make reservations for companies, organizations or individuals. For Isar raft trips, you can also book an entire raft.

Choose to take part in one of our raft trips, and you’re in for a great day out on an ethnic log raft, with draft beer, a traditional Bavarian breakfast, Bavarian music and lots of fun!

We meet at 08:15 am at Neptune’s fountain, Elisenstraße, near Munich Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). The bus takes you to Wolfratshausen, where the rafter and his crew are waiting for you.

Isar raft trips for groups
